Welcome back from the holidays. I hope you had a better time than I did, and not tucked up in bed with the flu for the 2 weeks :( This week will be another busy week with Maori Langauge Week. We will be practising our months of the year with our buddy class. Below is the song we will be practising. Duty Day: My duty days this term are Monday and Tuesday lunchtimes. I have no after school patrol duty. This term we have fancy dress to look forward to on the 25th of September. Last year it was spread over 2 days due to the tremendous amount of support and spectators so the junior fancy dress maybe on the 24th. But you will know closer to the time. Please ensure children have a packed morning tea and lunch. Parents are welcome! Holidays This is our last week at school. They do lots of fun and exciting activities like movies, art, and games (just to name a few). Hope you have a wonderful holiday. Behaviours: It is about that time of the year when silly behaviours start to occur. With new children starting, and trying to settle them into classroom routines can be challenging. Both Cassie and I do rely on the older children to show these new children how ‘Mangapapa Kids’ behave and how they are role models! Please have a chat to your child about this.
